RADIO BACKGROUND: Y103 two different gigs/ WBBG as Johnny B. from during the morning show and hosted Sunday Night Cruise Doo-Wop Program complete with interviews of famed artists. Also stints at WRRO in Warren, WMGZ Z96 in Hermitage with Smoke, WBBW, WPIC, WRTK(all morning shows), also started complete with interviews as the original host of Y103's Saturday Nite Show The Closet Classic Theater now manned very successfully by Mark Allen.
TV: Worked for one year in weekend sports anchor at WYTV(ABC affiliate). Also several TV stints on all 3 area television stations 21(NBC), 27(CBS) & 33(ABC) during the past several years.
SPORTS: Currently providing daily radio reports reports on ESPN Sports Radio-1240 which can be heard daily Mon-Fri on our sister station WBBW-AM. Longtime play by play and sports announcer for YSU football and YSU basketball. Also, the first voice of the Cleveland Indians NY-Penn Lg. affiliate the Mahoning Valley Scrappers baseball team and got to meet my buddy Ted Kubiak the then manager of the club. Literally grew up on a football field as my Dad was a longtime football coach in Pop Warner League, Jr. High and Liberty High School-his career record was 220-17-5 with 3 National Championships in the Pop Warner League! I had the pleasure of playing quarterback for Dad with the McDonald Midgets and Liberty Little Leopards before assisting him as a coach in at Liberty H.S. later on.
