According to Brent Sobleski of ESPN, the Cleveland Browns are in a good position to land free agent cornerback Brent Grimes after offering him a multi-year deal.

Source: Browns positioned well to land CB Grimes due to offering multi-year contract. Miami didn't (only 1 year). Still considering options

Teaming up Grimes with Joe Haden would be a nice look for the Browns' defense going into 2013.
