Currently the Steelers salary cap situation is looking better as they sit with just less than $4 million in salary cap room. The NFL salary cap for the 2013 season was set at $123 million and after three-restructures-the Steelers are now in compliance with the cap at $119.1 million. There have been rumors that LaMarr Woodley will also restructure his contract, but it has yet to be officially announced. With a tough salary cap situation in front of them the Steelers were expected to suffer through another March Massacre this off-season and they will likely go through some changes in the coming weeks. However, things may be less horrible as some thought earlier this off-season. Pittsburgh can save around $5-6 million by-restructuring-Woodley's contract, which should happen soon. That will put the Steelers right around $10 million in cap space and be a good start to the off-season for the Steelers.
