Kyrie Irving reached 2,000 points, he is the 9th player in the history of the NBA to reach 2,000 points scored at his age. It was great to see Irving return to the Cavaliers line up but it would have been even greater to see the team beat the New York Knicks. The Cleveland Cavaliers out played the Knicks in the first half of the game, they were leading at the half 61-49. It looked as though the Cavs were going to beat the Knicks until Cleveland came out of the locker room in the 3rd quarter and played terrible basketball. The Knicks were able to turn things around and out-score the Cavs 21-13 in the 3rd period. The Cavaliers completely melted - down in the second half, the team went from dominating New York in the first half to getting dominated in the second half. It was like 2- different Cavaliers show up last night the Cavs were out scored by New York in the 4th quarter 32-23 and New York went on to beat the Cavs 102-97. This is a coaching loss for sure.
