We still haven't been able to see a consistent Ubaldo Jimenez. He came out in his first spring training start and got through a couple of innings with not giving up a bunch of runs. This past weekend Jimenez got hammered again. The problem with Ubaldo is he can't find consistency.- You never knwo which Ubaldo will show up and make the start. This year we were hoping the eye of Francona could have seen something with Jimenez's mechanics that would have been able to help the struggling pitcher. When Jimenez is on he is unstoppable. When he is just missing the strike zone by a bit, he gives up a lot of earned runs. This is going to be a problem this season. The Indians starting rotation comes into the season with plenty of question marks. If Jimenez continues to struggle once the season starts, the Indians are going to have a major problem trying to content in the A.L. Central. Somehow Francona needs to figure out how to help Jimenez get to the point where he has 100% confidence. From ...
