It's not surprising, but Jason Giambi is likely to make the Cleveland Indians' 25-man roster. -He was signed to a minor league contract with an invite to Major League camp this spring. -So far, he's been solid and proved to be healthy. -The Indians will likely bring him on board once the team breaks camp.
According to Bud Shaw of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, new Indians' manager is excited about Giambi and has indicated that the slugger would make the Major League roster. -Francona said Giambi wouldn't hit against lefties in the upcoming season - indicating, of course, that Giambi would be on the roster for the upcoming season.
