Good publicity or bad publicity, Oklahoma State football reached a new level of familiarity in 2007 when Cowboys coach Mike Gundy went on his famous "I'm a man! I'm 40!" rant.
Just in case anyone forgot about it, here's the video courtesy of ESPN:
The subject of that rant was Bobby Reid, a quarterback who started 18 games for Oklahoma State before being demoted and later transferring to Texas Southern. Now, he's back with OSU in a administrative position, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy.
In a 2008 story featured in ESPN The Magazine, Reid said was incredulous of Gundy's rant over an Oklahoman article written about the quarterback.
"Our relationship after that kind of faded away," Reid said. "When that rant happened, I was like, 'Blugggh, I don't think this is for me anymore.'"
