Now that general manager Kevin Colbert has done most of the house cleaning, he needs to start re-stocking the Pittsburgh roster.
According to Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com, defensive lineman Dwight Freeney is one of the targets to help in the pass rush department.
After releasing linebacker James Harrison, it left a huge void in their scheme for putting pressure on the quarterback.
Enter Freeney, who has been a pass rushing demon the past decade. Florio writes"
'Per a league source with knowledge of the situation, the Steelers, Ravens, and Broncos remain in play for both players.- Currently, [Elvis] Dumervil's decision is expected to come down to Baltimore and Denver.- Whichever of that duo doesn't get Dumervil becomes likely to land Freeney, with the Steelers as the possible alternative destination.'
