The Dallas Cowboys activated second-year cornerback Caelen Carson from injured reserve on Saturday.
Carson, 23, is set to make his season debut on Sunday against the visiting Washington Commanders.
Carson opened the season on IR after hyperextending his knee in training camp. He returned to practice earlier this month and was a full participant on Wednesday and Thursday.
A fifth-round draft pick in 2024, Carson recorded 27 tackles and four passes defensed in six games (five starts) during his rookie campaign.
The Cowboys (2-3-1) are also elevating running back Malik Davis from the practice squad for the NFC East clash with the Commanders (3-3).
